So you’ve made the decision to grow your business – congratulations! Now get ready for the next challenge: how to scale your business for growth. Even if you manage to sell like crazy, you’ll soon have another problem: you have to be able to deliver to all those new customers.
Scalability is about capacity and capability. Does your business have the capacity to grow? Will your business systems, infrastructure and team be able to accommodate growth?

Of all digital platforms, Facebook is perhaps the only one that successfully caters to users at any stage of their engagement journey. Facebook’s ad formats, targeting options, and measurement capabilities align well with any marketing strategy.
It is useful whether a user is in the proverbial upper funnel stages, casually browsing and just starting their research, or in a mindset to transact.
For the awareness stage, Facebook’s sponsored stories, video ads, carousel ads are great ways to pique someone’s interest without being too direct.

Business relationships won`t grow unless they are nurtured. This can be done in the form of keeping an eye on what your connections are sharing and liking on LinkedIn or other social platforms.
Commenting on a few statuses, answering a few questions, commenting on people’s promotions or other life events does not take too much of our time and can really help with strengthening the relationship. It’s always good to connect with people in multiple places as each social platform is different and offers different opportunities to deepen the relationships.
How are you nurturing your prospects?

When we tell stories we are only telling them from our perspective and they’re important to us because of how the outcome impacted us. When we tell stories in this way we’re limiting the impact the stories can have on our ideal audiences because we aren’t including what Marie Forleo calls with WIIFM factor (what’s in it for me?)
In order to tell a story effectively and convince our ideal audience that it DOES impact them in some way, we have to know the basics of a good story and how to apply that framework to the outcome we’re trying to explain.

Despite the importance of leaving your safety net, planning isn't the enemy.
In fact, even pivoting from plans successfully requires new or alternate plans. That holds true for the strategic scaling of businesses.
Having a plan of action in hand will make it easier to maintain your quality performance and implement new operations as you scale up, while minimizing your vulnerability to risks and losses. A good starting point would be to identify all barriers that could hinder your growth so that you can plan how to avoid or overcome them.

NEW EPISODE: BUILDING A BUSINESS AFTER COMPLETING THE HOLISTIC SLEEP COACHING PROGRAM, WITH REBECCA SCOTT-PILLAI
This week I am talking to the incredible multi-talented Rebecca Scott-Pillai!
In this blog, Rebecca talks to us about what drove her to apply for the Holistic Sleep Coaching Program and how her training allowed her career to grow since she completed the program. Rebecca is a graduate of so many Babyem courses – she has a thirst for knowledge and is driven to provide evidence based care and support to the families she works with.
What I particularly love about this conversation is how Rebecca is so clear about her business goals and understanding that sleep support, feeding support and parenting support can be so interwoven that it can be difficult to separate them when providing direct help, to the point that she has built a successful business around this multi-faceted approach.
If you’re considering the Holistic Sleep Coaching Program, or need business inspiration, this blog is for you!Rebecca initially worked as a midwife, before moving into private practice. She works as an IBCLC, Holistic Sleep Coach, and newborn specialist. She is also a founding member of the Responsive Parenting Collective, a group of 5 sleep coaches all trained through Babyem. Rebecca also has two of her own children, an 8 year old girl and a 4 year old boy.
Rebecca loves supporting families and helping them meet their parenting goals. She initially struggled with breastfeeding when her first baby was born, and she soon realized that her midwifery knowledge was not enough when it came to breastfeeding. This led her to train as an IBCLC, considered the gold standard when it comes to breastfeeding support.
